GOV UMO ENO DESERVES EVERY SUPPORT FOR A SECOND TERM – FRANK ARCHIBONG 

As Village Heads Pledge Continued Support for Government

Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mkpisong Frank Archibong, has called on Village Heads across the 31 Local Government Areas to remain committed to government directives, stressing that Governor Umo Eno’s impactful projects have reached every community in the State.

Speaking during a meeting with the leadership of Village Heads at the Traditional Rulers Council Chambers, Uyo, Archbong described Governor Umo Eno as a unifying leader whose remarkable achievements have transformed Akwa Ibom, insisting that he deserves overwhelming support for a second term.

The Commissioner urged the traditional leaders to protect government facilities within their domains, promote peace and unity, and take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration exercise by obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and encouraging others to do the same.

He expressed confidence that continued support for Governor Umo Eno would guarantee a more united, peaceful and prosperous Akwa Ibom, adding that the Governor’s impressive achievements within three years in office have earned him widespread acceptance and renewed confidence among the people and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Responding, Coordinator of the Clan of Village Heads, Etteidung Friday Inyang; Village Head of Abak Ishiet in Onna Local Government Area, Etteidung Aniefiok Benson; and other speakers commended the Governor’s inclusive leadership, improved welfare for traditional rulers and developmental strides, assuring him of their unwavering support and collaboration.
